Métabolisme, transport, structuration, communication, ou comment la vie s’est orchestrée autour d’une poignée de métaux
We’re looking for a PhD student interested in developing metallopeptides qs electrocatalysts for fuel synthesis.
Luminescent lanthanide complexes for live cell microscopy. We are looking an organic / peptide chemist to design luminescent probes for live cell microscopy imaging at the Laboratory of Chemistry and Biology of Metals.
Mr Mahdi SAAD, 3rd year PhD student at CEMCA (UMR CNRS 6521, Brest), was hosted in the DCM (UMR CNRS 5250, Grenoble)
Irene CASSANDRINI (2nd year PhD student, DCM Grenoble, supervisor: M. Gennari) was hosted by Prof. Vera Krewald at the TU Darmstadt
Laboratory of Chemistry and Biology of Metals (LCBM), Grenoble. Computational chemistry, Modellig, and X-rays (CoMX) team.
Fluorescent probes for the detection and quantification of traces of copper(II) in biological fluids. The projects aims at designing peptide and lanthanide-based sensors to detect Cu(II) by fluorescence in biological fluids. We are looking for a motivated postdoc with skills in molecular chemistry.
The objective of this project is to develop novel bioinspired nanohybrid catalysts based on synthetic copper complexes fo ORR and OER. These complexes will be immobolized at Carbon-Nanotubes-based electrodes. The position is avalable as soon as possible
Two thesis prizes were awarded in 2024, to Afridi Zamader and Andrea Fasano.
A postdoctoral position in Structural Biology is available in the Metalloproteins group at IBS in Grenoble, France.
Financing: Labex Arcane (https://arcane.univ-grenoble-alpes.fr) Place of work: CEA/LCBM, Grenoble, France (https://www.cbm-lab.fr/en) Directors of thesis: Dr. Ragnar Bjornsson (CEA Grenoble), Dr. Christine Cavazza (CEA Grenoble) PhD starting date: October 2024
The project deals with the biosynthesis and the potential of new antimicrobial peptides from mammalian gut microbiomes in the context of the fight against antibiotic resistance
